Elisha Marie is a soulful, self-taught artist who currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. She established the brand Free Soul Expressions in 2017, which is how she represents herself in the art community and distinguishes herself from the rest. The first items she sold under this brand were wire wrapped crystal pendants and small space-inspired paintings. In 2018, after experimenting with acrylic paint pouring and other abstract art techniques, she began working with epoxy resin.

She quickly discovered this to be the best way to create art that deeply resonated with her and gave her the freedom to express the magic she wished to share with the world. Since then, she has created a variety of different types of resin pieces including trays, paintings, pendants, and home decor. While falling in love with the process of working with this medium, she found a new sense of freedom as she was able to experiment with a multitude of different designs and ways of creating. Not only did it allow her to create art that she loved, it also blessed her with importance of patience and non-attachment to an outcome. There is a lesson to learn from each piece, with completely unique attributes that cannot be replicated.

influences & intention

Her current influences are mysticism, spirituality, astrology, space, and manifestation. Each piece has been created with the intention to reflect what she finds the most important to share at the time in order to make a positive impact on those who connect with her art.

She believes that being an artist is a gift, and allows her the wonderful opportunity to inspire those who connect with her. She wishes to share new techniques and create original and uplifting pieces that make the viewer feel a sense of peace and belonging. She wants the people who connect with her art to know that she is truly honored to share her spirit in such a remarkable way.

resin paintings

As much as she loves all of the mediums she works with, resin paintings are her favorite thing to create and loved the most by her customers. With bold colors and ethereal undertones, she finds herself immersed in another world during the creative process. There is no intented outcome to these paintings - she simply lets her intuition guide her, which makes these paintings even more personal as she feels there is a little bit of her own magic sprinkled in each piece.
